Applicable to iOS 9.0-iOS 9.1, iOS 8.4.1 does not support this jailbreak.
Supported devices include:iPod Touch, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5/5c/5s, iPhone 6/6 Plus, iPhone 6s/6s Plus, iPad mini 2/3/4, iPad/iPad Air/iPad Air2.
Please do the following before jailbreaking to improve the success rate:Turn on airplane mode, turn off Wi-Fi, turn off screen passcode lock, and turn off "Find My iPhone" in iCloud settings.
Things to note
1. Preparation before jailbreaking
Please back up your data first. Although Pangu jailbreak (iOS9) has been successfully tested on most models, we still hope that you back up your data before jailbreaking to avoid data loss.
Before jailbreaking, please do the following to increase the success rate: turn on airplane mode, turn off Wifi, turn off the screen password lock, and turn off "Find My iPhone" in iCloud settings.
2. The system upgraded through OTA failed to jailbreak.
OTA upgraded systems will have many influencing factors. If multiple attempts fail, please download the latest official firmware and flash your phone before trying again.
3. "Storage capacity is almost full" is displayed on the device.
This is an alert caused by the jailbreak program writing to the system directory. This prompt will not appear again after running Cydia for the first time to complete the moving directory.
4. Summary of handling failed jailbreaks
Please turn on airplane mode and turn off Wifi before trying to jailbreak again. If it still fails, please restart your phone and try again. If it keeps failing, please re-flash the phone and then jailbreak.
Jailbreak Tutorial
1. Pre-jailbreak operations:
1. Before jailbreaking, be sure to turn off "Find My iPhone" in the device's "Settings" - "iCloud"
2. Before jailbreaking, be sure to go to the device "Settings" - "TouchID and Password" - "Turn off password"
2. Start the jailbreak operation:
1. Open PP Jailbreak Assistant
2. After recognizing the Apple device, click [One-click Jailbreak]
3. Click the [Start Jailbreak] button of the PP Jailbreak Tool
4. Please read [Jailbreak Instructions] carefully and click [I have backed up] to proceed to the next step.
5. The PP jailbreak tool is jailbreaking the device. When the prompt "Please turn on airplane mode" appears, please turn on the airplane mode of the Apple device. The PP jailbreak tool will continue to jailbreak the device.
6. When the PP jailbreak tool reaches "Please unlock the device and click the <Pangu> icon on the desktop", please turn on the Apple device, click the "Pangu" icon on the screen, click the "Accept" button, and click [OK] in the ["Pangu" wants to access your photos] dialog box that pops up.
7. The PP jailbreak tool is jailbreaking the device, please wait patiently for the prompt [Jailbreak Successful]
