How to use RenRenYiShiJie Mac
Tutorial on generating subtitles through AI listening translation:
1. Start Renren Translation Vision and choose to log in.
Supports username and password login, and also supports APP scan code login.
2. Import video or audio
There are four ways to import video files, you can choose any one.
1. Click the [Open local file] button
2. Click the [Open Video] button
3. Click the [<No video file>] button
4. Drag the file to the video preview area
5. The files imported by ordinary users should not exceed 30 minutes, and the files imported by certified translators should not exceed 1 hour. Otherwise, a prompt that the listening translation failed will appear!!!
3. Start AI listening and translation service
4. Select [Translation Language Pair]
If the original text is in English, then choose English-Chinese translation.
1. All language pairs are Chinese-centric.
2. The translation direction chosen here must be correct, otherwise the accuracy of the content generated after listening to the translation will be very poor!
3. If you don’t need translation and only need original subtitles, then only choose the first translation direction. For example, if a Chinese video only needs Chinese subtitles, then choose Chinese-English translation.
5. Choose an accent
Note: For most English videos, American audio is selected by default. If you feel that the accuracy of the listening translation is low for videos with a British accent, you can also try using an American accent. For most Chinese videos, just choose Mainland Mandarin.
6. Select the upload method
1. If it is a personal translation task, it is recommended to check this option. This can greatly shorten the waiting time for uploading files and listening to interpretation processing.
2. If the task you create is a collaborative task and the uploaded video needs to be processed by other people, please do not check this option.
7. Officially launch listening and interpreting services
Click the [AI Listening and Translation] button again. After the upload is completed, the listening and interpretation server will parse the file and return the subtitle file.
8. Wait patiently
1. It is recommended to install the Renren Translation APP and activate the reminder notification. After the subtitles are generated, the system will send text messages and APP reminders.
2. The waiting time depends on the condition of the video itself, and the system cannot give an accurate estimate of the time.
3. Example reference: a 2 minute and 35 second BBC news listening session (pure human voice), the language direction is set to English-Chinese, and the accent is set to American accent. The total time from the beginning to the end of the listening interpretation is about 1 minute and 45 seconds. The accuracy of the subtitle manuscript is around 95%.
9. View message reminders
There are three reminder methods: 1. The red reminder in the upper left corner of the client. 2 SMS reminders. 3 APP push.
10. Automatically obtain subtitle files
As shown in the picture above, after the subtitle file is generated, it will be automatically displayed on the client.
