Software features
1. The green version of the electronic chart downloader of Shipxun.com provides name query and positioning.
You can enter a name such as "Chengdu" in the query box and select "Chengdu" in the dynamic list to correctly position the view to the location of Chengdu. Name-based queries can only query city-level names, but cannot query township-level or street-level place names.
2. Provides coordinate query and positioning
You can enter coordinates such as "104.073653,30.661714" in the query box and click the "Query" button to correctly position the view to the location of Chengdu. Different from the coordinate query of Google Earth, when entering coordinates here, the longitude value is first and the latitude value is last.
3. Provides a download task list
The software provides a download task list window, in which all download tasks can be displayed. Select the "Download" tab in the lower left corner of the window's vertical split bar to switch the view to the download tree window. Select the root node "Download" in the download tree window, and all status tasks will be displayed in the task list; select "Downloading", and the task list will display downloading, paused, and scheduled download tasks; select "Downloaded", the task list will display downloaded and spliced completed tasks.
4. Provides global map browsing
The software provides a global satellite map browsing window, in which you can zoom in and out by rolling the middle mouse button wheel; pan the view by pressing the middle mouse button.
5. Provides download progress monitoring
The software provides a download progress monitoring window. When you select a download task, the download status of the current task will be displayed in this window. A point in the view represents a 256 x 256 picture, where the "gray" point indicates that it has not been downloaded; the "yellow" point indicates that the first download failed; the "purple" point indicates that the second download failed; the "red" point indicates that the third download failed; and the "green" point indicates that the download was successful.
6. Provides download results browsing
The software provides a download result browsing window, in which you can browse and check the download results. You can export the download results as large pictures or tile pictures through "Export|Stitch Pictures".
7. Support visual new tasks
The software supports visual new tasks. Click the "Online Map Browsing" tab in the main window to switch to the map browsing window, click the "Frame Select Download Area" button on the toolbar, draw a selection box for the range to be downloaded in the view, and then double-click the mouse in the selection box to start a new task.
8. Support digital new tasks
The software supports digitally creating new tasks. Click the "Download Task List" tab to switch to the task list, and click "New Task" on the toolbar. You can start a new download task by entering the coordinates of the lower left corner and the upper right corner of the desired download range.
9. Support multi-tasking simultaneous downloading
The software supports multi-task downloads at the same time, but no more than five.
10. Support multi-threaded high-speed downloading
The software supports multi-threading, and ten download threads are enabled for each task by default to increase download speed.
11. Support planned task downloads
The software supports scheduled task downloads. When there are more than five tasks currently in download status, all newly created tasks or tasks that attempt to turn non-download status tasks into download status will be in scheduled task status. Whenever a download task is completed, the tasks in scheduled status will enter the download queue in turn.
12. Support task resumption at breakpoints
The software supports task resumption at breakpoints. If the task currently being downloaded is interrupted due to man-made or non-man-made factors (such as power outage or other unpredictable reasons), when the task is downloaded again, the task will continue from the last interrupted position without having to start the download from the beginning.
13. Support automatic shutdown after completion
The software will automatically shut down after completion of support. When downloading tasks are heavy, the software can be left unattended and will automatically shut down after completing all downloading tasks. To do this, just right-click on the tray image in the upper right corner and select "Shut Down When Done" from the menu.
14. Provides major city landmarks
The software provides landmarks of major cities, and you can directly enter the city name in the query window to query.
15. Can generate precise coordinate files
The software can generate precise coordinate files, which will help us accurately overlay the downloaded pictures into other software. To implement this function, you can select the "Generate JGW coordinate file" or select the "Generate TXT coordinate file" check box when exporting the stitched image according to actual needs. It should be noted that the coordinates generated when switching to a "foreign server" are completely consistent with GE, but if there is an error between GE and the real coordinates, the generated coordinates will also have errors.
16. Intelligent analysis and complete download
When the software downloads, it will record the download status of all pictures. If the download fails, the corresponding point status of the picture will be red. If there is no data to download, the corresponding point status will be blue. When a round of downloading is completed, all red failure points will be automatically downloaded again, and the data-free area will be automatically filtered until the download is complete.
17. Seamless splicing of single large pictures
By default, the software can seamlessly splice into a single large GeoTIFF or GeoJPEG image. However, if the image cannot be opened because it is too large, you can select "Generate multiple large images".
18. Automatically upgrade and update online
The software can be automatically upgraded online.
