KStars software features
KStars is designed to give learners a better understanding of celestial objects in the night sky and where they move. Detailed maps show how objects interact and influence each other. The tool also allows users to observe the night sky from different locations on Earth on the same date.
Users can attach tracks to planets to see their paths, and can set a date in the future to see what the night sky will look like.
Right-click on any celestial body to display relevant information about the celestial body, as well as other resources and pictures.
KStars installation steps
1. Download the latest version of KStars installation package from Huajun Software Park. After unzipping, double-click the "exe" file to enter the installation wizard and click Next
2. Select the installation user and click Next
3. Click "Browse" to select the installation location. Generally, the default is C drive. It is recommended to install on D drive. Click Next.
4. Click to select the Start menu folder and click Install to install
5.KStars is being installed, please wait patiently
