Introduction to Beijing Rail Transit Line Map
At the end of December 2017, Beijing will open several new rail transit lines. Therefore, the 2018 version of the Beijing rail transit line map is released.
Beijing's rail transportation mainly consists of three parts: subways, trams, and suburban railways. By the end of 2017, Beijing’s rail transit mileage (excluding suburban railways) will reach 608 kilometers. The operational mileage of suburban railways will reach 260 kilometers.
Among the newly opened lines, the Xijiao Line is a modern tram line that interchanges with Metro Line 10 at Bagou Station.
Line S1 is a medium-low speed maglev line that transfers with Metro Line 1 at Pingguoyuan Station. However, due to Pingguoyuan Station being out of service for the construction of a transportation hub, it is temporarily running off the grid.
The Yanfang Line is the first fully automatic rail transit line independently developed in my country. It interchanges with the Fangshan Line of the subway at Yancun East Station.
The newly opened suburban railway lines at the end of the year will use existing railways to operate commuter trains.
The city's sub-central line initially opened four stations: Beijing West Railway Station, Beijing Railway Station, Beijing East Railway Station and Tongzhou Railway Station.
The Huairou-Miyun Line initially opened five stations: Huangtudian Station, Changping North Station, Fangezhuang Station, Huairou North Station and Gubeikou Station.
