OverDrive is a system detection and overclocking tool officially launched by AMD. It is specially built for the Spider platform, which supports Phenom processors, 7 series chipsets and Radeon HD 3000 series graphics cards. AMD OverDrive can help you manually or automatically control processors, chipsets, memory, graphics cards and other components, and make detailed adjustments according to your needs. The prerequisite for using OverDrive is that you must have a 7 series chipset motherboard, and it will not start if you force install it on other systems.

​ ​ 1. AMD OverDrive supports the new APU (codename Kaveri) launched in January 2014: A10-7850K, A10-7700K;

​ ​ 2. Starting from version 4.3.1.0690, the CPU temperature is no longer displayed, but the marginal heat (ThermalMargin) is fed back. Thermal Margin reflects the distance between the current operating temperature and the maximum operating temperature of the processor;
