Installation steps
1. Double-click the downloaded installation package, click [Browse] to select the software installation location, do not change the default installation on the C drive, check [User License Agreement] and [Create "Start Menu" folder], and click [One-click Install] to install the software
2. The installation is complete. After checking the required features, click [Experience Now] to complete the software installation.
Tips
1. Universal Wubi provides five input methods: Pinyin input, English input, stroke input, Pinyin + strokes and Wubi font.
2. Settings
(1) Move the cursor to the "Universal Wubi" icon, and when the cursor becomes the shape of a hand, press the left mouse button.
(2) Press the right button of the mouse anywhere in the universal Wubi window.
(3) In the Windows taskbar, right-click the tray icon of Magnum Wubi.
After opening the function menu, you can perform various settings, the important ones are;
Input bar window position: Currently, Magnum Wubi provides 9 window positions, which can be selected according to needs;
Word frequency adjustment: selected by default, located in the auxiliary menu;
Full-width/half-width: You can press Alt+F8 to switch to full-width state, and press Alt+F9 to switch to half-width state.
2. Various word creations
(1) Create words by hand. Press the Ctrl + ~ key combination, and the input bar icon will appear as "Creating a word". Then directly enter the phrase you want to create. After inputting, press the Ctrl + ~ key combination again, and the word creation window will automatically pop up. Click OK or enter the code you want to enter to complete the word creation.
(2) Take words from the screen and create words. For words that already exist on the screen, you can press Shift+Move keys to select them, then press Ctrl+F10 key combination to pop up the word creation dialog box, and press Enter. If the screen word capture fails in a few applications (such as IE4.0), you can directly copy the phrase to the clipboard (method: select the phrase, press Ctrl+C), and then click the "Word" button on the input bar.
(3) Take the initiative to create words. After inputting more than 4 codes, such as "gongzidan", press the space and "salary dan" will be displayed. Press the space or 1 to select "salary" and "salary but" will be displayed. "Single" is the second code. Press 2 to select, the Chinese characters will appear on the screen and the word creation will be completed. When entering next time, enter "gongzidan" directly, and "payroll" will be available. If you already have a corresponding Chinese character, if you want to create a word group "select", and "xuanzhong" already has a corresponding Chinese character "select", you can press Enter, or you can forcefully enter the word creation state. If you want to make a word group "Xi'an", and "xian" itself corresponds to many Chinese characters such as "now", you can use "′" to separate it, enter "xi′an", or press the space to automatically create the word.
