Contents of the Occupational Health Management Measures for Radiation Workers
Radiation work units and their radiation workers within the territory of the People’s Republic of China shall abide by these Measures.
“ Radiation work units as mentioned in these Measures refer to enterprises, institutions and individual economic organizations that carry out the following activities:
(1) Production, use, transportation, storage and disposal of radioactive isotopes (unsealed radioactive substances and radioactive sources)
(2) Production, use and maintenance of radiographic devices
(3) Uranium mining, uranium hydrometallurgy, uranium enrichment and conversion, fuel manufacturing, reactor operation, fuel reprocessing and research activities in the nuclear fuel cycle
(4) Radiation monitoring of radioactive isotopes, ray devices and radiation workplaces
(5) Other activities related to ionizing radiation specified by the Ministry of Health
Measures for Occupational Health Management of Radiation Workers and Other Matters
Radiation workers should meet the following basic conditions:
(1) Aged 18 or over
(2) After occupational health examination, it meets the occupational health requirements of radiation workers
(3) Passed the training assessment on radiation protection and related legal knowledge
(4) Comply with radiation protection laws and regulations, and accept occupational health surveillance and personal dose monitoring and management
(5) Hold a "Radiation Worker Certificate"
