·EDIUS is a professional non-linear video editing software, including Xplode for EDIUS and EDIUS FX, Canopus advanced real-time 2D and 3D video effects engine. EDIUS provides a seamless real-time workflow for all video acquisition formats with real-time, multi-track, HD/SD mixed format editing, compositing, chroma key, subtitle editing and timeline output capabilities.
·EDIUS is mainly used to integrate various popular or latest video technologies used by post-production editors into a complete package, rather than a basic video editing software package. However, this does not mean that EDIUS, as an NLE software, does not have any new functional improvements.
·Canopus Edius non-linear editing software is designed for broadcast and post-production environments, especially for journalists, tapeless video production and storage. EDIUS has a complete file-based workflow, providing real-time, multi-track, multi-format mixing, synthesis, chroma key, subtitles and timeline output functions.
·In addition to the standard EDIUS series formats, it also supports Infinity, JPEG 2000, DVCPRO, P2, VariCam, Ikegami GigaFlash, MXF, XDCAM and XDCAM EX video materials. Supports all DV, HDV cameras and recorders at the same time.
