Laboratory management system content
Fire and explosion proof
1. All electrical equipment must undergo safety inspections before being delivered for use. In order to prevent accidents, electrical safety regulations must be strictly implemented, regular maintenance must be carried out, and the insulation of wires must be paid attention to whether it meets the needs of the voltage and working conditions. Laboratories that need water and electricity should take precautions to prevent water from flowing into wires.
2. In order to prevent fires caused by overloading the lines, ensure that the capacity of the wires meets the requirements of electrical equipment. If overload occurs, excessive electrical equipment on the line should be disconnected, or additional wires should be installed as needed.
3. The connection between wires and wires, and between wires and electrical equipment must be firm and reliable to prevent accidents caused by overheating.
4. When someone gets an electric shock, the power supply should be cut off immediately, or the wire should be separated from the human body with an insulator before rescue can be carried out.
5. When using flammable and explosive substances, operating procedures must be strictly followed. Experimenters must be familiar with their characteristics and relevant knowledge in advance. If flammable and explosive substances need to be used in students' experiments, experimenters should teach students in detail the operating methods and precautions for the safe use of flammable and explosive substances before the students' experiments, and strengthen guidance and observation.
6. Flammable and explosive substances must be stored in categories and inspected regularly to prevent spontaneous combustion or other accidents.
Laboratory management system fire protection measures
1. Always have appropriate fire-fighting equipment ready in the laboratory and in the aisles.
2. When wires and electrical equipment catch fire, the power must be cut off first, then use a dry powder fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire, and notify the relevant departments in a timely manner. Never use water or foam fire extinguishers to extinguish burning wires and electrical appliances to avoid electric shock to fire extinguisher personnel due to conductive liquid sprayed by water or fire extinguishers.
3. For fires caused by chemical reagents, except for ordinary non-dangerous goods that can be extinguished by ordinary fire-extinguishing methods, fires involving dangerous goods should adopt different fire-extinguishing methods based on their physical and chemical properties. Otherwise, the fire-extinguishing effect will not be achieved, but will cause greater fires or personal accidents.
4. If the experimenter's clothes catch fire during the experiment, he should immediately cover the person on fire with water-soaked items to prevent them from coming into contact with air or other oxidants and suffocating the fire. Do not run in a hurry to avoid airflow, which will increase the fire and cause greater damage.
