Function introduction
Visual C++ Redistributable Package installs the runtime components of the Visual C++ library.
These components are required to run C++ applications developed using Visual Studio 2015 and dynamically linked with Visual C+ libraries.
These packages can be used to run such applications on your computer even if Visual Studio 2015 is not installed.
These packages install the runtime components of the following libraries: C Runtime (CRT), Standard C++, MFC, C++ AMP, and OpenMP.
