ONVIF Device Test Tool FAQ
Unable to discover device
Problem description: Although ONVIF compliant devices are present on the network, the client is unable to find them when trying to discover them.
Solution:
Check the network configuration to make sure the client and device are on the same subnet and there are no firewalls blocking communication on UDP port 3702.
If automatic discovery is not possible, you can try manually entering the device's IP address and port (default is 80 or 443) to connect.
Log in to the device's web page, check whether the ONVIF service is enabled, and confirm whether the device supports the ONVIF version used.
