In order to download and install Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, you must currently have a production release version (RTM) of Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 installed.
If a pre-release version of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 was previously installed on your computer, you must uninstall that version before you can install SP1.
