1. Why is BitComet downloading too slow?
Usually the download speed is too slow due to the following factors:
①The user’s own Internet speed is slow, so the download speed of BitComet will naturally not be fast;
②The seeds themselves have too few resources and are too old. Slow download speeds are unavoidable in this case;
③The downloading period happens to be during the peak period. Slow downloading speed is normal. Please try again at another time period;
④BitComet setting issues: Changing the "listening port number" in the settings to between 20000 and 22000 will help improve the speed. It is recommended that you change the listening port number every few days.
⑤Update the BitComet version to the latest version, register a Comet Pass, and use the long-term seed function, which is very helpful for improving download speed.
2. How does BitComet increase download speed?
1. First click “Options” in the toolbar;
2. Then click [Network Setup Wizard] in the network connection.
3. Select the [speed limit setting that comes with the software] according to your own network bandwidth.
4. Then open the listening port settings.
5. Then click on bt download to set up anti-blood-sucking.
6. Disable the [anti-blood-sucking protection] setting. If anti-blood-sucking is turned on, blood-sucking will not be possible, so the download speed will be slow.
7. Finally, click Disk Cache and set it according to the computer performance, usually set to 1024MB. The setting is complete, and the download speed has improved.
