Tutorial on how to make BitComet seeds

Step 1: Before making a seed, first put the files that need to be seeded in the same folder. Then open BitComet and select the "Make Torrent File" option in the "File" menu.

Step 2: There are two tabs in the "Create Torrent File" window: "General" and "Remarks". In the "General" tab, first select the type of seed resource. Generally speaking, if you want to publish a relatively large movie file or game disc image file, it is best to use the "Single File" option, but if you want to publish all the files in the entire directory, you must use the "Entire Directory (Multiple Files)" option.

Step 3: After selecting the type of seeding resource, find the “source file” that needs to be seeded, as shown in Figure 3. Generally, BT releases files between 150MB and 1GB more efficiently. If you want to release files larger than 1GB, you can divide them into several seed files for release.

Step 4: After selecting the file, enter the BT server address in the dialog box under "Tracker Server and DHT Network Node List" so that the seed will be published to the server after the seed is produced. The content and form of the address will be explained accordingly on the homepage of the BT website or the seed release page.

Step 5: After setting up the above steps, click the "OK" button to start making seeds. Of course, you can also set the publisher name, publisher URL, remarks and other information in the "Remarks" area.

Step 6: After the seed production is completed, you can see a task appearing in the BitComet interface. This is the seed we just made. It is now in a paused state. Open the right-click shortcut menu of the task and select the "Start" option, so that we can start providing download services for others.

Step 7: Finally, the seed production is completed, so you can share your seeds with others.
