Critical system updates
May 24, 2018
In order to adapt to road law enforcement personnel's measurement of whether passing vehicles are overloaded at temporary overload detection points, this system can be installed on the on-board computer of the law enforcement vehicle. It has now been officially connected to four pieces of equipment: high-speed camera, portable wireless weighing instrument, digital display screen and sound and light alarm, and has been specially optimized for it:1. Law enforcement officers first place the portable wireless weighing instrument on the road at the temporary overload detection point and guide the vehicle to be inspected to the weighing instrument.
2. Law enforcement officers select the axle type of the vehicle to be inspected in this system, and the system can automatically identify how many sets of axles the vehicle has and the upper limit of the total weight of the vehicle and cargo.
3. The vehicle to be inspected drives past the wireless weighing instrument at a slow speed (3-5km/h). The weighing instrument can accurately measure the axle weight of each set of axles of the vehicle and wirelessly transmit it to the system on the on-board computer in real time. The cumulative sum of all axle weights is the total weight of the vehicle and cargo. The total weight of the vehicle and the maximum load capacity of the vehicle will be displayed simultaneously on the digital display. If the total weight of the vehicle and cargo does not exceed the upper limit, the vehicle is not overloaded. If the total weight of the vehicle exceeds the upper limit, the vehicle is overloaded. The system can automatically calculate the overload ratio and automatically trigger the audible and visual alarm to flash and sound for 5 seconds.
4. If the vehicle to be inspected is overloaded, law enforcement officers can ask the driver to show his driver's license and driving license, and place them on the high-speed camera next to the on-board computer. The system can identify the driver information on the driver's license and the vehicle information on the driving license, and automatically fill in the system data entry interface. Reduce the data entry workload of law enforcement personnel and improve the accuracy of data entry.
5. For vehicles that are confirmed to be overloaded after initial on-site inspection, according to regulations, road law enforcement personnel should supervise the driver to unload part of the cargo to reduce the total weight of the vehicle and cargo to below the upper limit. Then use the "recheck" module of this system to guide the driver to get back on the weighing instrument and recheck the total weight of the vehicle and cargo to ensure that the illegal overloading state is eliminated.
6. Vehicles that are confirmed to be overloaded through on-site inspection can be logged into the system. After review and confirmation by the legal department of the unit, they can be converted into a formal case, and transportation administrative law enforcement documents can be produced and printed.
