How to use:
View
ApowerPDF provides an intuitive and flexible page browsing mode. To make it easier for you to view PDF files on your computer, you can set it as the default PDF reader.
Page display
Select "View" > "Page Display" to easily set the page layout required for reading PDF files. For example, you can choose single-page viewing, double-page viewing, allow scrolling, auto-scroll, and more. In addition, the software also supports rotating the page view clockwise and counterclockwise.
Zoom in/out
This editor can also adjust the page zoom factor. Just click "View" on the toolbar and select "Zoom" in the menu. It offers multiple options for page scaling, including "Fit to Width", "Fit to Visualization", "Zoom to Page Level" and more. In addition, you can directly select the zoom ratio from 8.33% to 6400%.
The "Zoom Frame" function is to use the mouse to select a rectangular area on the page to enlarge. Or you can directly left-click the page to increase the magnification factor. The amount of magnification depends on how many times you click. If you want to reduce the magnification level, press Ctrl and left mouse click on this page.
Navigation
ApowerPDF also provides a way for users to quickly view different pages in "Page Navigation". You can use this feature to quickly jump to the first page, last page, previous page or any specific page. Therefore, the navigation located on the left side of the main interface allows easy and quick access to various pages.
create
Whether you want to create a new PDF file or convert an image or document to PDF, you can use the Create feature. Just click a button on the interface and create a PDF from a blank document or local file. When creating from local files, you can import Word, Excel, PowerPoint files, or images.
Edit
Various editing feature options are also included in the software. You can click "Edit" directly on the toolbar to edit content and add links.
Content editing
In this area, you can select "Edit text; images" to modify the original document's text and images. If you want to add text anywhere on the page, click "Add Text." Click "Add Image" and select a file in the local folder to insert the picture. You can then resize the image by clicking and dragging.
If necessary, you can also adjust the font, size, text color and underlining, and convert the text to bold or italic.
Insert link
If you want to add a link, click Link > Insert Rectangular Link. Then drag a rectangular area on the page. Once done, a window will pop up where you need to customize the look of the link and select an endpoint. For example, you can set a link to open a web page or jump to a page view.
Convert
This editor can also convert PDF to various documents. Just click on the "Convert" icon (if you are using this feature for the first time, you will need to install the converter's components from here) and select the format you want from the drop-down list. For example, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text, HTML, PNG, etc.
Convert PDF to Microsoft document: Select Word, Excel or PowerPoint from the menu, and then the "Save As" window pops up. You can click "Settings" to select the page range, layout and output language for conversion. Finally, click the "Save" button.
Convert PDF to images: ApowerPDF can also convert PDF to JPG, PNG, GIF, Bitmap and TIFF image formats. Before conversion, you can also select the page range, resolution, color space, etc. according to your needs.
Convert PDF to Others: It also supports converting PDF files to HTML, text and rich text formats.
Comment
Users who want to add comments to PDF files can click "Comment". In this feature, two sections are provided, Annotation and Draw Markup. In Annotations, you can easily highlight, underline, strikethrough, and insert markup content for better illustration and viewing.
In Draw Markup, you can use the pencil tool to add arrows, lines, ovals, rectangles, and draw. If you want to erase part of the picture, just use the eraser tool and drag to the area of the graphic you want to remove.
