Intel Rapid Storage Technology is Intel's rapid storage technology. Intel has developed RAID, SATA, and AHCI drivers for its own chipset. It also comes with a device console program that can easily view and manage the status of each drive.
For enterprise users, Intel has also developed an enterprise version of Intel Rapid Storage Technology Enterprise, which is designed for enterprise users. Recently, Intel released the Rapid Storage Technology Enterprise (RSTe) driver version 3.6.0.1093, which supports the Intel C600 series chipset. The version is F6 installation version, which needs to be installed before installing the system.
