"StarCraft" (English: Starcrft) is a real -time strategic game produced by Blizzard Entertainment. This is the first work of StarCraft series games, which was officially released on March 31, 1998. The game has 3 expansion pieces, but the official release is the "Battle of the Mother's Nest". Its sequel "StarCraft II: Wings of Freedom" was released on July 27, 2010.
"StarCraft" uses the "Warcraft II" engine, but the difference is that they combine three very different races: Protoss, Zerg and Terran. They each have very different combat units and technology trees.
