StarCraft 1.08 race introduction
Terran
Human race (or Tren, Tlan clan): The original English text is Terran, which means people from the earth and their colonies on other planets in space. In the original story of StarCraft, the humans who appeared in the first generation of the game were criminals exiled from the Earth. They took four huge immigrant spaceships to the other end of the universe. This means that they are not authentic "Earthlings". In the entire game series, the only human from the Earth is Gerard. DuGalle and the Earth UED fleet he led. In the background setting of StarCraft (that is, the single-player game), the influence of the human race is not as good as that of the Zerg or the Protoss. This is mainly because in the story, the scale of the human race is much smaller than that of the other two races.
Zerg
Zerg/Zerg (or Zerg): The original English text is Zerg. They share a common creator with the Gods, the "Xel'Naga". The Zerg were created as purely physical creatures, so they are also translated as beasts. The wisdom, will, and power of the Zerg are concentrated in a few high-IQ brainworms. Other Zerg members have no thoughts and wills of their own and are completely obedient to the psionic signals emitted by the brainworms. In addition, all Zerg have a common leader - Overmind. Overmind is the origin of all Zerg thoughts, including of course the chiefs of each tribe, which are the brainworms.
Gods
Protoss/Protos: The original English text is Protoss. They and the Zerg have a common creator, the "Xel'Naga", and their home planet is in Aiur. The Gods were created as beings of pure spirit and pure energy, so they were translated as the Gods. Their civilization was highly developed. Compared to the highly adaptable humans and primitive Zerg, the Protoss are more conservative and have highly developed technology. The Protoss have long considered themselves the most powerful race in the known universe. The reproduction rate of the Protoss is not high, so they cannot provide a large number of troops to the battlefield like the Zerg, but they know how to use robot technology and combine it with their superpowers to create high-quality warriors.
