Ad Muncher is a browser enhancement tool (ad filter) with 1592 built-in filter items. It can not only filter advertisements in web pages, block pop-up windows, but also remove pop-up boxes (alert boxes, information boxes...) in web pages; it can not only be used for Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator/Communicator, Opera, but also for browsers such as NetCaptor, MyIE, MyIE2, etc. with IE as the core. It can even filter any programs with connections and ads built into shared software!
Ad Muncher does not require any user configuration before it starts working. The author has designed it to handle the most common ad types by default, and all you have to do is cross your legs and browse the web as usual.
Of course, the program supports users to customize their own filters. If you are an internet expert and have great experience in ad filtering, you can completely disable the built-in filter (cancel it in the configuration settings window)!
