Readability is a new Firefox extension that makes reading web pages easier and more enjoyable. The system separates redundant information and displays the main content in a single column of easy-to-read text. It's also a valuable tool for printing web pages.
To use Readability just click the R icon on the Firefox status bar. In addition, by right-clicking on the R icon, you can also open its style options dialog box.
Users can also add a toolbar button to the navigation toolbar. Just right-click on any toolbar button, select the "Customize" option, and drag the icon to the toolbar.
The shortcut key combination to enable Readability is CTRL+ALT+R. Return to the initial page using the CTRL+R key combination.
Mac users: Please use Command+Option+R to enable Readability. Return to the initial page using the Command+R key combination.
Readability also includes auto-scroll functionality.
As the name suggests, the autoscroll feature will allow you to automatically scroll pages without a mouse or keyboard. After you enable Readability and simplify the page, just press the CTRL + SHIFT + A shortcut keys to start using the autoscroll function.
