"Left 4 Dead 2" is set in the southern United States, starting in Savannah, Georgia, and ending up in New Orleans, Louisiana. This cooperative first-person shooter horror action game will take players and friends through the cities, swamps and cemeteries of the American South, from Savannah to New Orleans, over five lengthy campaigns.
Players will play one of four new survivors, equipped with a wide variety and an astonishing number of classic and advanced weapons. In addition to guns, players will also have the opportunity to unleash their fury on the infected with a variety of carnage-inducing melee weapons, such as chainsaws, axes, and even deadly frying pans.
Players will test the power of these weapons against three terrifying and formidable new special infected (or play as these new special infected in versus mode). You'll also encounter five "unusual" common infected, including the terrifying Golem.
