The difference between New Chinese Xiangqi and Chinese Xiangqi
inQQ Game HallThere is another classic Chinese chess game in chess. Many players don’t know the difference between the two games. Let’s talk about the differences between the two games to avoid confusion.
1. The levels are different. In Chinese chess, there are grassroots, scholar, county and general levels, while New Chinese chess is: ninth level chess player, eighth to first level chess player, and then third level master, second level master, first level master, and finally grand master.
2. The time design is different. In Chinese chess, each move can be designed to last one second, but in New Chinese chess, it can only be set to 30 seconds recently.
3. The chess pieces and chessboard interface of the new Chinese chess are much larger than the original ones, and the visual effect is also better
4. New Chinese Chess supports saving game records, which is convenient for chess enthusiasts to analyze and review the game.
New Chinese Chess Time Setting Instructions
The time settings of New Chinese Chess include "game time", "move time" and "countdown". Each player calculates his own "game time", "move time" and "countdown" respectively. When playing chess, players first calculate "game time" and "move time". Before the game time times out, each move must be completed within the "move time" limit. When the next move is made, the "move time" is recalculated. When the "game time" times out, the "game time" stops counting, and the player must complete a move within the time specified by the "countdown". The timeout of "move time" and "countdown" will cause the game to end, and the player who times out will lose.
For example, assume that the settings for "game time", "move time", and "countdown" in a certain chess game are 30 minutes, 5 minutes, and 3 minutes respectively. When playing chess, players will first calculate the game time. Before the end of the 30-minute game, each move of the player must be completed within 5 minutes. After the official 30-minute count ends, players must complete each move within 3 minutes.
How to decide a draw in New Chinese chess
About winning, losing, and drawing
During the game, if one of the following situations occurs, our side loses and the other side wins:
1. One's own general (general) is captured by the opponent's chess piece;
2. One’s own side issues a request to admit defeat;
3. One's own move exceeds the time limit;
4. One's side times out
5. Escape on your own side
If the other party proposes a draw and we neither agree nor reject it, that is, we do not click any button, then after a certain period of time it will be deemed that we have refused to draw and the game will continue. But during this period, if our side's step time (or game time) expires, the system will judge our side as a loss. This needs to be noted.
New Chinese Chess Points Rules
Every player will receive an initial score of 1,300 points when entering QQ Chinese Chess for the first time.

Level 5 players = 1400; level 4 players = 1500; level 3 players = 1600; level 2 players = 1700

How to calculate points for winning, losing, and drawing
NewS=OldS+K*(Res-Exp)
*NewS is the points after the game, OldS is the points before the game,
*K is the amplification factor, as shown in the table below
*Res is the result of the game (win is 1, loss is 0 and sum is 0.5),
*Exp is the expected result value, which is the probability of the player winning
Exp=1/(10^(Dr/400)+1)
Where Dr=(opponent’s points-your points)+Yfirst;
If it is the first mover, Yfirst=-100; otherwise Yfirst=+100;
If the game ends within two moves (excluding two moves), neither player will count points. If a chess move takes two or more steps and one side times out or escapes, causing the chess game to end, then the side that overtimes or escapes will be judged to have lost, and the other side will be judged to have won. Scores are calculated according to normal winning and losing formulas. The losing side loses points and the other side gets points.
How to evaluate New Chinese Chess
Some users find that they cannot enter the master area because they do not have enough points, so at this time they need to complete the evaluation round to obtain points.
In the game’s room list, find the [Chess Strength Evaluation Area]. This area will not allow you to freely choose an open position. Instead, the system will automatically help you match players with similar strengths to yours.
You can click Quick Start and the system will automatically match your opponents. Of course, you can also invite your QQ friends to compete.
