(1) Building a city wall requires one round without being attacked/disturbed by the enemy. Players can take advantage of this to attack the enemy's city. Because the capital/large city has two walls, I personally think it is impossible to capture the capital without taking advantage of this feature. (Especially when the troop level tree is locked in the campaign)
(2) To attack a city, use two shielded infantrymen and two repeating archers. When defending a siege, an archer is replaced by a cavalry. The cavalry can push the opposing troops back, which can control the health of the city wall very well.
(3) Pay attention to trade. Remember to stock up on the resources of the three types of troops, especially when your territory is not producing any. Every time I took a break and sieged a city without the corresponding resources to act, my heart collapsed (I don’t know how many times I slapped).
(4) The diplomacy in this game is very retarded, but I have never played a war chess game where diplomacy is not retarded... In short, it means sending money to increase favor, and to a certain extent, you can make trade alliances, etc. A truce also requires a certain level of goodwill, so if you occupy too many cities on the opposite side and lose too much goodwill, they will not agree to a truce. On the contrary, if we just gradually encroach on it, it seems (doubtful, not tested) that we can take one city and stop fighting and then take another city.
(5) Trade can only be done with bordering countries.
(6) When the battle locks the technology tree of the arms, it seems that the black market can be used to increase the maximum limit of the arms (doubtful, I successfully produced level 4 soldiers in the battle with the level 3 upper limit, but because the level 4 soldiers have certain requirements for generals, there is no actual combat test).
