Wire cross-sectional area calculation for power transmission lines is a constant-voltage public broadcasting cross-section calculation software that can calculate the line resistance and wire cross-sectional area based on transmission voltage, medium, line attenuation, transmission mileage, total load power, etc.

Instructions for use

Note 1: Suitable for calculations on lines under low frequency conditions, power lines with negligible distributed reactance, loads close to pure resistance, and public broadcasting lines.
Note 2: When calculating the public broadcasting power transmission conductor, the formula "S=5LP" can be used for approximate calculation. Note that the unit of S is mm2 (square millimeter), the unit of L is km (kilometer), and the unit of P is kw (kilowatt). The formula is only applicable under the following conditions: transmission voltage 100V, two copper wires, loss minus 3dB, and load power evenly distributed on the line.
Note 3: Considering the mechanical characteristics of the power transmission line, its cross-sectional area should not be less than 0.5mm2.
