K-Lite Codec Pack Features
The characteristics of the K-Lite Codec Pack decoder are that it has good compatibility, takes up little system resources, does not insert startup items, does not slow down the system, and does not require restarting the computer for installation and uninstallation.
Full: In addition to the components and tools included in the standard version, the full version also includes 31 additional components and 4 additional tools, and adds video decoding capabilities for Microsoft Windows PCs. Nonetheless, no encoding or conversion tools are included in this package.
K-Lite Codec Pack installation steps
1. Unzip the compressed file and run the installation program
2. Select the installation mode.
There are three modes available:
Simple mode: Provides fewer customization options (choose the player to use, the speaker type of the device), and most options follow the default settings
General mode: all options (you can choose whether to install Media Player Classic player), default installation location
Advanced mode: all options, optional installation location
Just choose one according to your needs. The following takes "Simple Mode" as an example. You can skip the following steps. Click "next"
