[How to register and log in to TIM]
How to register?
TIM is a sub-brand of QQ and uses the QQ account system, so you can register a QQ account on the client's registration interface or QQ.com.
How to log in?
TIM uses the QQ account system. You can directly use your existing QQ account, or register a new QQ account to log in.
How to start a group chat?
In the TIM information interface, click the [+] sign in the upper right corner -> [Start a group chat] -> Select the participants -> Click [Create].
【Organization Management】
1. How to build an organization?
Click [Contacts] on the navigation -> click [+] in the upper right corner -> add friends and create an organization interface, click [Create Organization] at the bottom -> enter the name of the organization and select the type of organization -> click [Create] in the upper right corner to create an organization, and you can also add members and sub-organizations immediately.
2. How to add friends?
Click [Contacts] on the navigation -> then click [+] in the upper right corner -> enter the interface to add friends, and then add friends through the following methods:
a. Search for mobile phone number or ID to add friends;
b. Directly click [Add Mobile Address Book Friends];
c. Bind your QQ account and use [Add QQ Friend] method.
d. If the other person is right in front of you, you can also add the other person as a friend by [scanning] the other person's QR code.
【Applications and others】
1. How to schedule a conference call?
Click [Me] on the navigation -> Enter the [Phone] interface -> Click [Reserve a conference call] to add a conference call reservation on this interface. You need to set the "topic" so that participants can understand the meeting topic, set the "start time" so that you will be reminded when the meeting is approaching, then select "Participants", and finally "Send Reservation". When the scheduled meeting time comes, the system will remind you to enter the audio conference call.
2. How to transfer files between mobile phone and computer?
Click [Me] on the navigation -> Enter [My Computer] -> Click [+] in the lower right corner of the bottom -> Select pictures, take photos or send files to your computer.
3. What functions can be enabled after binding a QQ account?
a. Enable QQ message collection on the message interface (it is enabled by default after the first binding);
b. You can add QQ friends to TIM by clicking [Add QQ Friends] in [Contacts] -> [My Friends] -> [New Friends];
c. You can turn on [Recommend QQ Friends to Me] in [Settings]->[Privacy Settings].
