MobaXterm software features

MobaXterm installation steps

​ ​ 1. Download the software compressed package file, first click "MobaXterm_installer_20.1.msi" to install the client program

2. Read and agree to the software installation agreement

3. Select the software installation location

​​ 4. Check the installation information. After confirming that it is correct, click the [Install] button to continue.

5. Wait for the program to be installed. Do not start the software yet. Just click the [Finish] button to exit the wizard.

Serial port signal reception problem

Problem description: After connecting to the device, the serial port signal sent by the device cannot be received.

Solution:

Try turning the device off and on again, or reconnecting the serial port in MobaXterm.

Pay attention to check whether the device has been turned on correctly and whether the serial port connection is successful.

Data format issues

Problem description: The received data format is incorrect or cannot be parsed.

Solution:

Some devices may add extra characters or newlines when sending serial data. When receiving data, you need to pay attention to the format and length of the data and process it accordingly.
