Software purpose

Lenovo ThinkServer(TM) System Management - Command Line Interface (TSMCLI) is a Microsoft PowerShell module.

Responsible for providing remote management and monitoring of TSM (BMC) on ThinkServer.

TSM is a hardware device embedded in the server and is used to manage and monitor server status.

Using TSMCLI, administrators can perform TSM user management, network settings, power control, remote media reset control,

Platform Event Settings (PEF) and other functions, and can perform one-to-many server management through PowerShell scripts.

Tips

--When using the "get-fwupdatestatus" command to obtain the TSM (BMC) firmware update status, when the progress is between 1 ~ 100, an error message will sometimes be generated. In this case, please wait a few seconds and try the command again.

--When using the "transfer-fwimage" command and filling in an invalid IP v6 address in the serverAddress parameter, an error message will appear, but it does not specifically indicate that the IP v6 address is incorrect. At this time, please check the IP v6 address and enter the correct IP v6 address.

--Use the "set-smtpsettings" command. The following unsupported characters are not explained in the user manual: ~ ! # % ^ & * ( ) + = [ ] { } | < > ? /

--The "create-user" command only supports passwords no longer than 16 characters in length.
