POEM operations research optimization software

The POEM optimization computing platform is based on the NCL language as the core. POEM integrates the visualization engine Visual Script to provide a development application platform for users under Windows. The integrated platform greatly reduces the user's burden of software management (learning, development, deployment, customer training and maintenance).

NCL language is a natural language for operations research with mathematical logic as its syntax, integrating logic, optimization and search rules. Compared with other solvers on the international market, NCL can directly model and solve complex large-scale problems at the business logic level, without having to treat nonlinear problems like Mixed Integer Programming (MIP). The all-in-one nature of POEM eliminates the need for software vendors to rely on the numerous software components on the market (more than a dozen function-specific components such as business rules, optimization, and visualization) to integrate their products. Users only need to learn NCL and Visual Script to develop solutions.
