Codigger software project physical examination software installation steps

​ 1. Click the [Download] button to download the installation program to your computer. Before installing Mudem, it is recommended that you temporarily turn off the anti-virus software (360, Antivirus, Tinder, and other computer managers) to avoid being unable to install or failing due to interference from the anti-virus software.

​​ 2. Install HealthCheckMudem to PC

3. Wait for the installation program to automatically complete the environment installation.

​ 4. After completing the installation of HealthCheckMudem, you have completed the environment installation of the local system. You need to register as a user to experience it.

5. After registration, use it immediately!

​​ 6. Basic use: On the Codigger platform, the project physical examination is an application that is automatically installed on the desktop. Double-click the icon on the desktop to open the project physical exam. Wait a few seconds to enter the main project physical examination page.

​ 7. Set the scan path

If you are opening the project physical examination for the first time or need to check items under other paths, please click Switch Scan Path to set the total project directory, and the scanner will automatically scan all items under the path.

8. Start scanning

After selecting the path, click Start. The physical examination program will automatically analyze all projects in the directory and analyze them step by step. When a certain project folder is analyzed, it will display green.

9. Overview

After the software project code scanning is completed, the project data is calculated and analyzed in the background. Click the overview icon on the left to enter the project overview.

10. Problem analysis

Click on any project in the project list on the left to enter the project overview and start further viewing problem statistics and analysis.

The project overview shows a line chart of the number of bugs, a chart of the proportion of bugs, CodeSmell, and Vulnerability graded issues, a line chart of code smells, a line chart of the number of lines of code, a line chart of vulnerabilities, and a chart of code duplication rate.

We can click on the title of each line chart to enter the list of specific questions. The list shows the details of the questions, the corresponding question types, the files to which they belong, etc.

11. Problem level

In the project physical examination, we provide three problem levels, Blocker, Major and Critical to describe the severity of defects or problems.
