OmniSync is an NTPd driver in a firewall environment. When the time synchronization port UDP 123 is blocked by the firewall, it allows time synchronization to proceed normally. OmniSync can use SNTS, IRC, ICMP, SNMP, precision time protocol (PTP -- IEEE 1588), HTTP, HTTPS (both also via proxy server), and (S)NTP via a Socks(5) for time synchronization.
