SQLTools software introduction
SQLTools is a lightweight and powerful front-end for the ORACLE database. It provides a powerful text editor, SQL console, object browser and some useful tools. It has a small footprint and is as fast as Oracle Just as fast as SQL*Plus. SQLTools is easy to operate, so you can copy it to a USB flash drive.
SQLTools is not as comprehensive as TOAD or PLSQL Developer and will never offer as many features, but some people like its clean and fast UI.
SQLTools system requirements
This program was developed and tested under Windows 2000/XP/2003 and should work with Vista/Windows 7 (including 64-bit).
Oracle Net8/Net9/Net10/Net11 or instance client. Requires 32-bit version of client.
Server requirements
Oracle version 8i/9i/10g/11g. SQLTools 1.3.0.12 is the latest version of SQLTools that supports Oracle 7.3 or 8.0.
SQLTools installation steps
1. Download the installation package of the official version of SQLTools from Huajun Software Park. After unzipping, double-click the "exe" file to enter the installation wizard and click Next
2. Read the license agreement and click I Agree
3. Click "Browse" to select the installation location. Generally, the default is C drive. It is recommended to install on D drive. Click Next.
4. Select the components you want to install and click Install to install
5.SQLTools installation is complete, click Close to exit the installation wizard
