FFmpeg is a suite of software that can be used to record and convert digital audio,
video, and an open source computer program that can convert it into a stream. It includes the currently leading audio/video coding library libavcodec.
FFmpegIt was developed under Linux, but it compiles in most operating systems including Windows.
This project was initiated by Fabrice Bellard and is now directed by Michael Niedermayer. Can easily implement a variety ofvideoMutual conversion between formats, for example, the recorded video avi can be converted into the flv format used by current video websites.
