Graphviz is an open source graph (graph in data structure in computer science) visualization project designed by several computer experts at Bell Labs. It is mainly implemented in C language and mainly implements some graph layout algorithms. Through these algorithms, the nodes in the graph can be distributed evenly on the canvas, the edge lengths between nodes can be shortened, and the intersection of edges can be reduced as much as possible.
Graphviz provides an imperative drawing method. It provides a dot language for writing drawing scripts, and then parses the script to analyze the fixed points, edges and subgraphs, and then draws according to the attributes.
