Primatte Chromakey takes a photo with a single color as the background and replaces that single color with transparent pixels to obtain a foreground image at any resolution. Essentially, you generate a very complex soft edge mask. Primatte is commonly used for the creation of post-processing special effects for film and television. Chroma key is increasingly becoming an essential technique for graphic design and still photography.

Primatte is very simple and easy to use. Its advantage is that it can easily remove the underlining and solve lighting problems with all kinds of annoying artifacts on the picture. High-performance color spill removal uses an internally generated defocused image in a uniquely precise composition, especially around the edges of foreground objects. And, Primatte integrates seamlessly with the Photoshop interface, eliminating the need to jump to other applications for processing. Primatte works when dealing with edges of foreground objects and transparent and translucent objects in the foreground.
