Canon CameraWindow (Canon CW) is a free application. Using this program, users can transfer images shot with a Canon compact digital camera (see below for compatible models) to an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch via Wi-Fi and share them in just a few simple steps.
*The camera can be connected directly to the device (setting the camera as a simple access point), or connected to an existing Wi-Fi network (using a Wi-Fi access point).
Function
-The program offers the following features:
1) Use iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to browse and play images stored on the camera.
2) Save one or more images to iPhone, iPad or iPod touch (you can also use the camera interface to save images).
3) Obtain location information and add it to the image in the camera (only cameras compatible with this feature).
4) Remote shooting can be carried out through the touch operation of iPhone, iPad or iPod touch (only cameras compatible with this function).

Things to note
-[For users using IXUS 510 HS and IXUS 240 HS] Connection via Ad-hoc may not be possible. If you are unable to connect via Ad-hoc in settings, please connect via infrastructure mode.
-If CameraWindow cannot connect to the camera correctly, please close the program and try again.
-Up to 500 in-camera images can be displayed on the screen at one time. To reveal the remaining images, swipe the screen left or right.
-The facial recognition function will record the name of the registered person into the image. So please use caution when posting images where they can be viewed by anyone, such as the Internet.
