oauth2 software features
100% unit test coverage.
The DataStore object has been completely torn off. While creating unit tests for the library, I discovered that the implementation had some significant bugs and confirmed with Andy Smith that it was never fully mature.
The class no longer starts with OAuth.
The Request class now extends from dict.
This library may no longer be compatible with Python 2.3.
Works in the Client class and extends from httplib2. This is a thin wrapper that automatically handles signing of any normal HTTP request you might wish to make.
oauth2 software description
Supported storage backends
python-oauth2 does not force you to use a specific database. It currently supports these out-of-the-box storage backends:
MongoDB
mysql
redis
Memcached
However, you are not bound to these implementations. You can easily add the implementation of the backend by attaching the interface defined by the base class in oauth2.store. It is also possible to mix different backends, for example reading the client's data from MongoDB while saving all tokens in memcached for fast access.
