PowerRun (highest privilege running tool)

Some software on the computer must require the highest permissions to run. Although there is a function to run as an administrator, it is not enough. Software features

PowerRun is a portable free software that launches regedit.exe, Cmd.exe or other software with the same privileges as TrustedInstaller/Nt Permissions/System Why do you need it? Sometimes it's just not enough to just run as administrator, maybe it's a file or registry key that is locked or uneditable, PowerRun this powerful privileged tool is likely to solve this problem, PowerRun does not require any installation process or additional dll files.

How to use

Once downloaded, extract PowerRun to the desired location and run it. You can drag and drop any file such as; program files, program file shortcuts, script files, text files usw. To run the listed file in TrustedInstaller/SYSTEM permissions you can select it and use run button or right click on it and select "Run File" function, the file will run with highest permissions, you can check task manager for details Information tab to verify that the selected file is running with SYSTEM permissions

If you try to edit or delete keys from the registry, you may find that some keys won't let you do anything and you'll get an error like "Cannot delete xxxxx: Error while deleting key". These keys are usually protected to prevent accidental deletion, you can also be an administrator on the computer and still be unable to operate the required key.

Even though the administrator account has great control, there are other hidden accounts and levels on the system that have greater access, so standard administrator rights are not enough. To solve this problem you have to force the registry to allow the logged in user full control of the subkeys. In this case PoweRun can help you: use the "Launch Registry Editor" button

Copy the required registry keys and click the "Open" button, PowerRun will open regedit (with the highest permissions) and automatically jump to the key. If you want to add any parameters to the listed script or program rigt click on it and use "Edit Project" or just use the wrench button.

For automation purposes, PowerRun allows you to create a vbs or bat file with the necessary parameters to use this functionality:

Note: PowerRun cannot be run with only "TrustedInstaller" permissions, it can also be run with "NT permissions/system" permissions
