Quick search

After the software is run, there is only one main window as follows. The initial size of the window is 800×600 pixels. The window can be maximized. When dragging and adjusting the window size, it will not be smaller than the initial size.

Quick search software function

From top to bottom, from left to right, each function of the main interface is explained:

​ ​ 1. Search path edit box and its supporting controls. This function is used to specify where to search:

(1) Manual input is available in the edit box, and multiple paths can be searched together. Multiple paths are separated by English ','.

(2) The right side

Here you can use the mouse to select the folder location to be searched, click OK and fill in the path in the edit box.

After clicking the button, fill in the root paths of all disks (including mobile disks) into the edit box with one click.

The list box displays the subfolders and files under the currently specified search path. Click on each title bar to sort in ascending/descending order.

When a new path is manually entered, the list box will not be updated in time to display the content of the new path. Click You can then update the folder contents to show the new path.

, here you can select the search matching type, a total of 5 types:

Exact file name matching: If the keyword contains a file extension, only the same keywords can be searched. If there is no extension, only the main file names need to be the same.

The file name starts with: The beginning part of the main file name is the same as the keyword.

The file name ends with: The last part of the main file name is the same as the keyword.

File name contains: The main file name contains keywords.

Path or file name contains: The main file name or path contains keywords.

, when entering multiple extensions, separate them with English ',', example: ".txt,.exe,.jpg". As you might imagine, entering the same extension for both qualification and exclusion will start a search scan, but nothing will be found.

3. Search results display functional area:

(1) The operation of the list box is the same as above, the only difference is that only files are displayed here, and after double-clicking, the system's "File Manager" is opened, and the file is located at the location where it is located and selected.

The function is to export the search results into ".csv" file format. The exported file can be opened and edited in Excel, or Kingsoft and other office spreadsheet software.
