Use KMPlayer to preview eMule video files in advance

There are many video files in eMule, but there are also a lot of confusing content, and there are also video files with different content and titles, which often wastes our time and traffic. If there is any software that can preview a video content in advance, we can judge whether to download it based on the content. In fact, our commonly used KMPlayer player can play eMule's undownloaded files, and it can be achieved with just a few settings.

Run KMPlayer, right-click on the software interface, and select "Options—Parameter Settings" (shortcut key: F2) in the pop-up menu to open the "Parameter Settings" dialog box.

Next, we click the "File Association" item on the left in the pop-up dialog box, then enter the "Association" tab on the right, select the suffix "part" in "Association", and then click the "Apply to System" button to save the settings.

When we download the video file in eMule to about 10%, we can open the temporary download folder of eMule, which is usually under the "temp" folder in the eMule installation directory. You can see a file with the suffix "part" in it. Double-click it to preview and play it with KMPlayer. If the content is not what you need, you can delete the download task in eMule and search for related download resources again.
