After the reform of official vehicles, in principle, each department is responsible for the placement of surplus drivers in each unit. If it is indeed impossible to place them, the following measures can be taken to properly resolve them. The resettlement costs will be arranged from special funds of the municipal finance.
1. If the unit has an establishment and the work needs it, and the person meets the conditions, he or she can be encouraged to apply for the civil service examination; if the unit does not have an establishment, or the person does not meet the conditions, new jobs can be arranged through targeted training.
2. If there are new positions in departments with subordinate units, they should be given priority.
3. Encourage the unit’s surplus drivers to seek self-employment. For surplus drivers who retire and seek self-employment, their labor relations will be terminated at the same time in accordance with relevant policies and regulations. And provide economic compensation and living allowance in accordance with relevant regulations.
