Router Password Viewer (RouterPassView)

Router backup files usually contain important data like your ISP username/password, router login password, and wireless network keys.

The function of RouterPassView is to decipher the password information from the backup file, thereby realizing the function of retrieving the broadband password. In principle, RouterPassView does not directly crack broadband passwords, nor is it a true hacking tool. Instead, it saves the country by reading and analyzing configuration backup files.

If you have lost those passwords/keys but you still have a backup file of your router configuration, RouterPassView can help you recover your lost password files from your router.

In the password information read by RouterPassView, PPPOE is the password for broadband dial-up, WEP is the WIFI connection password, and "Login" is the administrator password of the router.

RouterPassView method to crack broadband Internet password:

The use of RouterPassView is very simple. First, we need to log in to the router's backend using a browser and find the place where the export settings are backed up. The picture below shows the "backup configuration file" in the backend of TP-Link.

After clicking on the backup configuration file, the browser will ask you to save a file to your computer, here it is "config.bin". Then, we open RouterPassView, click "File" -> "Open Router Configuration File", find the config.bin file just now and open it, you can find the password information in the router, as shown below:

Of course, although this method is relatively simple and convenient, there are currently too many router brands and models on the market, and RouterPassView cannot support all configuration backup file formats. However, it has been tested that most mainstream brands such as TP-Link, Netgear, D-Link, ASUS, Linksys, Huawei and other routers can support it. Friends in need should try it for themselves.

This utility works on any version of Windows, starting with Windows 2000 and up to Windows 7. RouterPassView supports limited router models. see below.
