kindlegen (epub to mobi tool)

The latest official version of KindleGen v2.9 supports the creation of Kindle e-books, and supports the epub to mobi conversion tool to determine the file formats we have. If it is .opf/.htm/.html/.epub, it can be directly converted to .mobi format and placed on Kindle for viewing, and the conversion is so convenient that it can be completed in one step.

How to use

First download kindlegen and unzip it
Now start the conversion. Here we need to put the converted file in the drive letter where the file is located. For example, I had a book called XX.EPUB or XX.HTM before but it was on the C drive. Then I need to copy the file to the drive where KINDLEGEN is located.
The next step is to open DOS. For example, in the Windows system, in the search bar or in the system before Vista, in the run bar, enter cmd to pop up the command prompt window.
First find the drive letter where your kindlegen is located in cmd, for example, enter x:
Now go to x:>, type kindlegenkindlegen XX.EPUB or XX.HTM and press enter
After the program is run, the XX.EPUB or XX.htm file is converted into a .mobi file and generated next to the XX.EPUB or XX.HTM file.
