Exact Audio Copy

Exact Audio Copy (EAC for short) is a software that helps you rip CD audio tracks with lossless sound quality and save them on your computer's hard drive. Because it uses the Windows ASPI interface, it can well support various SCSI and ATAPI CD-ROMs at the same time. This software not only allows users to capture CD audio tracks in real-time, but also can quickly capture tracks to shorten the time of saving data. In addition, in addition to grabbing music files by track, Exact Audio Copy also provides the function of freely extracting music data in any time period on the CD. It can directly compress the captured music data into MP3 or MAV format and save it, and it can also convert these two audio format files into VQF, RA and AAC encoding formats afterwards. It is really versatile!

Software introduction

The latest version was updated on September 22, 2011: Exact Audio Copy V1.0 beta 3 (including CDRDAO and Flac packages), which added CDRDAO, modified the layout of the software interface, and added a sidebar on the left where you can select the CD cover, specify the starting track number, and other functions. In addition, a button has been added to the audio track information entry to easily add lyrics. Another change is that the GD3 database plug-in can be optionally installed in the software. How to use

Let’s talk about how to use Exact Audio Copy (EAC) to generate CUE files.

Step 1: Convert to WAV format

Click "EAC→EAC Options→General" and select "Simplified" from the "User Language" at the bottom.

Delete the track whose "index" is "0" from the list, and finally click the "OK" button to exit.

Return to the "Sound Effect Processing" interface. First, use the left button to click on the blue waveform below, and then click on

"CUE directory file", specify the save location to get the CUE file.

Note: If you do not click on the blue waveform, "Save CUE directory file" will be grayed out and cannot be enabled.
