UG10.0 new version features

UG10.0 FAQ
Simplified Chinese is selected for UG NX10.0 installation, why does it show English when we open it?
1. The Chinese environment variable is modified incorrectly! Just correct it! I don’t know the reason. Maybe I saw a solution on the Internet and then tried to solve it myself. Then I modified the environment variable randomly and incorrectly modified the variable UGII_LANG=simpl_chinese. , either this word is missing or that word is missing. There are quite a few people who have changed it to UGII_LANG=simpl-chinese, mostly beginners.
The correct one should be in the environment variables (in the system variables, not on the user variables. If you don’t know where the environment variables are, please search on Baidu. I will not teach basic computer knowledge here). Add
Variable name: UGII_LANG
Variable value: simpl_chinese
Confirm it!
2. The Chinese environment variable does not take effect immediately! Solution: Don’t move anything, just restart the computer.
This happened to WIN7WIN8 users. When installing, they clearly selected Simplified Chinese, but after opening it, they found that the interface was still in English.
Analysis of the cause of the problem: Since WIN7, the system has very high permission restrictions. The Chinese variables added by the UG installer during the installation process cannot take effect immediately. Of course, it will naturally change to Chinese after restarting the computer. This is unknown to a large number of people.
3. The Chinese language pack was not installed when installing UG, just reinstall the UG software completely.
I don’t know what the reasons are that lead some people to choose [customized installation] instead of [typical complete] installation when installing UG. I don’t know what these people think, or they may be dissatisfied with the installation of UG. The software is too big, 1/5 of the users are in this situation.
