Instructions for use

Decarburization calculation where the product is Cr2O3:
1. The binomials of C and Cr balance may be different, but in the same state, the calculation results are basically the same;
2. When the temperature is constant, the CO partial pressure value when in equilibrium with C Cr can be calculated; this is the most commonly calculated equilibrium relationship;
3. When the concentration is constant, the relationship between the molten pool temperature and CO partial pressure can be calculated to balance this;
4. When the partial pressure is constant, the relationship between the molten pool temperature and C concentration that balances this can be calculated;
Decarburization calculation where the product is Cr3O4:
1. At t=1650℃, Cr=18, and pure oxygen blowing, the minimum C concentration required for decarburization is 0.3%. The given [%C]=0.35>0.3 meets the decarburization requirements and can be decarburized.
2. At t=1650℃, C=0.35, Cr=18, the maximum CO partial pressure required for decarburization is 121437Pa. The given CO partial pressure is 101325Pa<121437, which meets the decarbonization requirements and can be decarbonized.
3. Under C=0.35, Cr=18, and pure oxygen blowing, the minimum temperature required for decarburization is 1626°C. The actual molten pool temperature is 1650℃>1626℃, which meets the decarburization requirements and can be decarburized.
