Hardware configuration:

A computer running Windows XP. (Windows XP users please make sure to install DirectX 9.0 before video can be played).

Internet access (broadband is best, voice calls are not available via GPRS, and connections via satellite may be unstable).

Speakers and microphones—either built-in or external.

For video, you need a computer with a 1GHz processor, 256 MB of RAM, and of course a webcam.

We also recommend that you have at least an 800 MHz processor (256 MB of RAM and 50 MB of free disk space).
