Tencent’s macOS version of WeChat has received an update to version 2.4.2.17, which allows you to mark chats as unread; preview message content and view friend details when forwarding messages; and optimize the experience of adjusting font size when browsing the web.

Two months ago, WeChat Mac version 2.4.1 was updated. WeChat groups added voice or video calls, more types of messages can be quoted in chats, and voice messages in chats can be set to automatically be converted into text. Support for WeChat mini programs has also been added.
